The GOP lost it's way a number of years ago. I think when George H.W. Bush broke his “no new taxes” pledge to the American people it was the beginning. Newt Gingrich and his Contract with American held the wolves at pay for a time, but power corrupted the GOP and we became a party of barrow and spend.

Your calculated decision to throw support behind McCain and assure his win in the GOP primary in Florida was the final nail in the coffin of the party this election cycle. Pandering for a position in the McCain administration you promised the world and delivered absolutely nothing.
